Day 01: Airport > Colombo 

Arrive at Colombo International Airport at TBA hrs. Here, you will be met by a designated chauffer guide from Lakpura Travels.

Things to Remember: 

- You will spend approximately 1 hour getting through the immigration cue and baggage collection. 

- Your Chauffer will be page your name at the Airport Arrivals Lounge.

- After the formalities at the airport you will be escorted to your air-conditioned Van and proceed to Colombo and check into the hotel, Relax and unwind after your long journey. (Travel Time – 1 to 1 ½ hrs)

Later in the afternoon go on a City and Shopping tour in Commercial City of Sri Lanka. 

Experience the colorful lights and bright life of Colombo, the capital City of Sri Lanka. Visit historic monuments such as the Old Lighthouse, the Old Parliament, Galle Face Hotel, Galle Face Green, Gangarama Temple, the National Museum and more. Enjoy the malls of Independence Square or the Race Course. Visit boutique shops and designer stores.

Thereafter return back to the hotel and relax. 


Day 02: Colombo  

After breakfast at the hotel play a round of golf at the Royal Colombo Golf Club situated nearby. This prestigious course is a good introduction to golf in Sri Lanka. (Travel Time – 20 to 30 mins)

Enjoy playing golf at the second oldest golf club outside the United Kingdom, the Royal Golf Club Colombo. Relax and unwind with a nice swing on the greens of this 18 hole golf course. Let your kids attend the Junior Golf Development Program or hone your skills at the practice facilities. Visit the newly refurbished Pro Shop for all your golfing needs.

On completion of the day return back to the hotel and relax.


Day 03: Colombo > Kandy

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Kandy. En-route you will be making a stop in Pinnawala to visit the Millennium Elephant Foundation. (Travel Time – 2 to 2 ½ hrs)

The Millennium Elephant Foundation (MEF) is a family run non-government organization (NGO) dedicated to improving the welfare of domestic elephants throughout Sri Lanka. The Foundation provide and fund the care, medical treatments, food, mahout salaries, the running costs of the charity as well as having an on call Mobile Veterinary Unit which travels around the country treating sick elephants in need. The Elephant Walk Experience is another alternative to elephant riding for tourists, which is an ethical, up close and personal experience for tourists.

Thereafter proceed to Kandy and check in to the hotel for relaxation. (Travel Time – 45 mins to 1 hrs)


Day 04: Kandy

After a relaxed morning and afternoon at the villa, go on a tour around the Kandy city.

Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhala Kings, and is the islands cultural centre. It was Sri Lanka’s capital until the British took control in 1815 and due to its significant association with Buddhism; UNESCO has now made the Sacred City of Kandy a UNESCO World Heritage site. The ancient kingdom of Kandy is also home to Edwardian buildings, a king-made lake, a nature reserve and exciting shops. As the second largest city of the island and the capital of the Central Province, Kandy has grown from being a medieval kingdom to a friendly, busy city set in forested hills and surrounded by tea plantations and close to the Royal Botanical Gardens at Peradeniya. Take a tour around this bustling city including stops at the local markets and architectural marvels.

During your sightseeing tour, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is a UNESCO World Heritage Site which was built in the 16th century as the place of veneration and protection for Lord Buddha’s sacred tooth. Walk through the beautifully embellished passageways and elaborately painted halls, done in red, cream and black. Lounge against delicately carved pillars and get amazed by the beautiful golden statues. Get an unforgettable experience of history and art.

Later, experience the glorious Sri Lankan Cultural Dance show.

The Kandy Cultural Show gives an opportunity to experience some of the traditions of Sri Lanka. Enjoy this hour long extravaganza as some of the most popular art forms of the island take to the stage. Get wowed by fire dancers and sword dancers. Watch the colorful Kandyan dancers take to the air to the thrumming primal beat of the drums.

Upon completion return to the hotel and relax.


Day 05: Kandy 

After early breakfast visit The Victoria Golf and Country Resort has a testing course which has regularly been voted as among the most beautiful in Asia.

Golf at this award winning 18 hole golf course designed by Donald Steele. A 73 par course which has some of the toughest holes in Sri Lanka. Relax and spend your holiday at this International Golf Resort which includes a practice range and practice putting green for golfers of all levels. Get equipped at the Pro-Shop on site. Try any of the other sports facilities, such as swimming, tennis, croquet, fishing and etc, which are also available at the resort.


Day 06: Kandy  > Nuawara Eliya 

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya and go on a lovely city tour around Nuwara Eliya.

Nuwara Eliya is set in the heart of tea-country is a beautiful town where the British succeeded in creating a replica of the English countryside, with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne. Well-kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican church, a famous golf course and beautiful parks give the place an air of nostalgia. Situated 6,200 feet above sea level, the air is cool and fresh – a serene retreat from the hustle and bustle of the city life. 

 On completion of the day check into the hotel.


Day 07: Nuwara Eliya 

Spend the day golfing at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.

Challenge yourself with this 18 hole golf course filled with uphills, downhills and water hazards.This par 71 and 6075 yard course was created by a Scottish Highlander in 1889. Relax and enjoy your golfing experience at ease as you stay at the club itself. Enjoy watching some of the famous golf tournaments that take place at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Shop for all your necessities at the Pro Shop.


Day 08: Nuwara Eliya > Negombo 

After breakfast at the hotel check out and proceed to Negombo and check into the hotel for relaxation. (Travel Time – 3 to 4 hrs) 

Enjoy the sun on the sandy beaches of Negombo on the Western Coast of Sri Lanka. Watch the flourishing fish industry, which is a centuries-old tradition. Ride an adrenaline high with some fun water sports. Enjoy the corals and underwater life while diving. See the 50-year-old ship-wreck just off the coast, where many varieties of fish make their home.


Day 09: Negombo > BIA 

After the breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to airport after spending a memorable time in this island.
